MICROLASERPEEL™Cost: $675 | Time: 60 Minutes
The Sciton Microlaser Peel™ has been successful in treating such skin conditions as fine lines and wrinkles, scars, acne scars, and pigmentary problems. The process is individually tailored to the patient's condition. The procedure is designed for people who expect better results than microdermabrasion or light chemical peels but have little time for a prolonged healing process.
Process: Dr. Bark uses the Erbium laser's high energy to remove the thin, protective dead layer. This first pass is virtually painless. A topical numbing cream is then applied and remains on the skin 15-20 minutes. The second, deeper pass is done followed by the application of a healing ointment.
Recovery: Patient recovery from the Sciton Microlaser Peel™ is rapid. Once the procedure is complete, patients can drive themselves home. Symptoms immediately following the procedure resemble a sunburn, with mild weeping, which can last 1-3 days. By the third to fourth day, the redness starts to fade and make-up can be applied. Patients may experience flakiness and peeling for 7-10 days. Patients are usually able to return to work within several days with make-up. Discomfort can easily be managed with a pain reliever.

The MicroLaserPeel™ requires little down time, usually 3-4 days, for your skin to heal resulting in smoother skin, smaller pores, and more even skin tone. A series of these gentle peels are as effective as other more invasive laser treatments, but without the weeks of healing time and the risks of permanent pigment loss.

The advanced Sciton Leg Vein Laser is designed to successfully treat expanded or dilated veins on the legs. This technique involves powerful cooling of the surface of the skin to prevent epidermal (top layer) damage. The blood vessel absorbs the heat from the laser and it is eliminated.
ACNE LASER

Laser is proven to be a very effective and faster way to treat acne and acne scars. Profile ThermaScan 1319 Ny:Yag is the ideal wavelength to treat acne conditions. The acne laser works by heating the sebaceous glands in the dermis of the skin leading to a reduction of oil production. Repeated treatments lead to an observable reduction in active acne in 2-4 weeks. Results can last up to 6 months. A series of 6-8 treatments one week apart is recommended for best results.

SKIN TYTE LASER

Skin Tyte offers a non-ablative approach to firmer skin. The Skin Tyte procedure utilizes a broadband of light energy to deeply heat the dermal collagen. This process promotes the stimulation of collagen. The heat also initiates the body's natural healing process which creates a renewed collagen foundation leading to increased skin firmness.
The Skin Tyte treatments are safe for all skin types and can be performed on any area of the body where an improvement in skin firmness is desired. A series of about 6 treatments will be needed, spaced a month apart, to achieve the best results.

Levulan Photodynamic Therapy is an advanced 2-step treatment for Actinic Keratoses (pre-malignant lesions) of the face or scalp. The treatment consists of a topical solution and Blue Light Therapy. PDT treatment targets and destroys the damaged pre-malignant cells. Treatment is covered by Medicare and many insurance companies. Following treatment you may experience a mild sunburn-like reaction.
